Professional services are separate from day programs and are grounded in ethical practice, collaboration, and thoughtful planning.

Communication Access & Spelling to Communicate (S2C)

Inspiring Potential Services is committed to improving access to communication for individuals who communicate in ways beyond speech.

As part of our professional services, IPS leadership participates in ongoing training through the International Association for Spelling as Communication (I-ASC). This learning focuses on understanding differences in motor-based communication, presuming competence, and supporting communication access in ethical, respectful ways.

This work is separate from IPS day programming and is offered thoughtfully and responsibly. Communication-related services are discussed individually to ensure appropriate fit, readiness, and alignment with best practice.

Rather than focusing on outcomes, our approach prioritizes:

  • Dignity and autonomy

  • Respect for all forms of communication

  • Thoughtful pacing and regulation

  • Ethical, informed practice

Individuals, families, and professionals who are interested in learning more about Spelling to Communicate (S2C) are invited to inquire.

For S2C-related inquiries, Amanda Birt can be contacted directly on Facebook at amandabirts2c or by email spellings2c@gmail.com
